Earlier today, Apple seeded the third beta version of watchOS 4 for Apple Watch devices. The update is available for those who have already registered into the Apple Developer Program and become members of the Program.
You can grab the update by using the Software Update mechanism in your Watch app. However, to see the software update, unless your paired iPhone with the Watch app must be running on iOS 11 beta 3, the update won’t show up.
Moreover, charge your Apple Watch’s battery to at least 50% power and should place it on its magnetic charging disk so that the update can be downloaded and installed. The watchOS 4 beta 3 installer will be downloaded from Apple’s Dev Center portal. Once it’s installed, you’ll see watchOS 4 beta update in the Software Update mechanism of the Watch app.
Apple has not yet to release watchOS 4 betas to the Public Beta Software Program. To refresh your memory, the watchOS 4 developer was first released at WWDC on June 5. After that, the second developer beta of watchOS 4 was rolled out on June 21.
The WatchOS 4 beta 3update includes three new watch faces, including a dedicated Siri face for displaying dynamic information, a new Toy Story face, and the Now Playing and Apple News complication face. Moreover, the Workout app also comes with built-in music playback controls as well as supports High Intensity Interval Training. The interface of Apple Watch will also be impressive with a dedicated gym equipment so that it can share data like your heart rate while you use the equipment data, thanks to the partnership of Apple with leading gym equipment makers.
With the Activity app, you can access new monthly challenges and make use of intelligent coaching as well as tailored workout encouragement. The official watchOS 4 version will be rolled out to public for all Apple Watch models in this fall.
