BLU has just added another smartphone in its affordable Android line, named the Vivo 8. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with the interesting hardware features, including a pretty impressive battery and a front-facing selfie snapper up to16MP.
The BLU Vivo 8 is powered by a 4,010 mAh battery capacity, which is claimed to make this phone last up to two days just with a single charge. In addition, with the help of the fast charging tech, the device also needs less than 90 minutes to fully charge up the battery. In terms of camera, the 16 MP front-facing snapper comes with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 1/3 inch sensor with a 5P lens. The selfie camera is also pre-installed some features designed specifically for selfies, such as beautification efects and many selfie modes. At the back of the phone, it’s a 13 MP rear camera using the Sony IMX258 sensor, coming with an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a 1/3 inch sensor with 5P lens, the real-time HDR mode, and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) with Laser Focus.
In specs department, the BLU Vivo 8 runs on a 64-bit MediaTek’s Helio P10 octa-core chipset, clocked at 2.0 GHz. The chipset packs with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, which can expand via a micro SD card slot. There is a fingerprint sensor placed at the front of the phone embedded the Home button. The Vivo 8 is currently shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It is now available in black or gold color options.

Currently, the BLU Vivo 8 is going on sale on Amazon at $299.99, which is certainly affordable for its hardware figures. However, from today to the end of September 1, you can grab the phone for only $199.99. One thing you should take note that it’s an unlocked phone, so it will only work on all GSM-based networks in the US, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
