After a long wait, the Guardians of The Galaxy, produced by Telltale Games, has finally come to Android platform, and the game is now available on the Google Play Store. With this latest game, players who are loyal fans or even the newbies can expect hundreds of storytelling. Like some of other games from Telltale, Guardians of the Galaxy will be priced at $4.99, but this is only for the first episode of the game like other games in the lineup, other episodes will be released in the future. Players will have the option to purchase, but for those who does not want all the episodes as they come out, there will be a season pass option for players with all of them on the launch day. And it, of course, will offer a discount over buying the game one by one. The multi-episode pack will comprise from episode 2 to episode 5 and will be soon available under the form off in-app purchase.
Although there are still Star-Lord, Groot, Gamora, Rocket, and Drax characters included in the game, the storyline will be a completely new story that have never appeared from Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it’s pity when the game is not compatible with all Android devices, as the company said that it would only work with devices running on Android Lollipop version which support OpenGL 3.1. The company also gives out an example of the devices that do work, including the Pixel and Pixel XL, so probably any devices running on Android Marshmallow and higher will also support. There are also some requirements on the GPU, including the Tegra K1 and Tegra X1, the Adreno 418, 420, 430, 505, and 530, and the Mali-T760 and Mali-T880. If your device is running on those supported GPUs, you should then download the game and give it a try. In case it is not compatible with your device, you can uninstall it and get a refund in the refund period.
