According to images posted by an industry insider from China, it leaked an unannounced HTC smartphones that could be the rumored Ocean Life previously. The leaked images showed off a mysterious device with the word “Ocean” on its top bezel, which may relate to the aforementioned codename.
One notable elements of the leaked smartphone is the two dual camera setups, which are located in both the top bezel and the back panel with two imaging sensors. Below the selfie snapper is a secondary display panel that is similar to the one on the HTC U Ultra introduced earlier this year. Although the leaked images do not show the device entirely, they still indicate that the rumored HTC phone will flaunt an edge-to-edge display with a thin top and bottom bezel. The rumored HTC Ocean Life appears in blue, silver, and black color options with the glossy finishes.

According to previous rumors, the device will feature a 5.2-inch FULL HD display with the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to run on the latest mid-range Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 660. The leaked images indicated that the HTC Ocean Life would feature four cameras, with two 16-megapixel sensors, one on each side of the smartphone. The Ocean Life is rumored to be powered by a 2,600mAh non-removable battery the company will likely be looking to waterproof the phone and make it as thin as possible. While the secondary display of the phone is similar to the HTC U Ultra, the HTC Ocean Life is also expected to inherit the Edge Sense technology of the HTC U11, featuring pressure-sensitive case edges for quickly launching apps.
